My fasting test report shows the following: Total cholesterol: 265 mg/dl, Triglycerides: 256 mg/dl, HDL: 44.8 mg/dl, LDL: 171 mg/dl, VLDL: 171 mg/dl, Non HDL: 220 mg/dl. Could you please assist in interpreting these results? What could be the possible reasons for these values, and is this really risky?

Your lipid profile indicates high cholesterol, especially LDL and triglycerides. It increases the risk of heart disease. Causes include poor diet, lack of exercise, obesity, or genetics. Lifestyle changes and possibly medicines are needed. Repeat lipid test in 3 months.

Based on the test report, several values indicate either an increase or deficiency in health. Platelet distribution width (PDW) is 9.1 fl and platelet to large cell ratio (PLCR) is 13.7 percent. The APO B / APO A1 ratio is 1.3. Blood ketone (D3HB) is 0.2 mg/dl. Homocysteine is elevated at 46.6 micromol/L. Ferritin is high at 613.2 ng/ml. HDL cholesterol is low at 25 mg/dl, triglycerides are high at 227 mg/dl, TC/HDL cholesterol ratio is 7.1, LDL/HDL ratio is 4.6, and VLDL cholesterol is 45.4 mg/dl. Could you please suggest what action should be taken?
