He has undergone two dialysis sessions so far, one the day before yesterday and one today. The ultrasound report shows that both kidneys are normal in size and there are no stones. However, the urine report indicates elevated RBCs and pus cells. Now, the doctor is recommending a kidney biopsy. I would like to understand what the next steps should be and whether the biopsy is necessary at this stage.

I have 30 to 40 pus cells and 20 to 25 epithelial cells per hpf in my urine report. I am also experiencing nausea, occasional burning sensation during urination, and mild pain in the lower abdomen and sometimes on both sides of the flank. I am currently taking Nitrobact 100.
