My husband had laser surgery for grade 1 piles and a fissure two months ago but still bleeds around 10-15 drops with brown discharge every time he passes stool. He doesn't have constipation and never bled before the surgery. His stool test shows pus cells, occult blood, and RBCs. Should we be concerned about this?

Your situation, with a newly developed fistula and pus discharge, strongly suggests a need for surgical treatment, as fistulas rarely heal spontaneously
