My husband has been dealing with an anal issue for about 35 days now. He's really uncomfortable whether he's walking or sitting, and there are three lumps near his anus. We're living in different cities because of work so I'm worried. He says it's painful and that he's having regular bowel movements. He's also feeling a bit feverish and can't really concentrate at work. He's been doing warm compresses with Betadine twice a day, but since yesterday it's not helping either. What could be going on, and how can we help him feel better?

Immediate action required:
- Wash the wound with soap and water.
- Apply antibiotic ointment and cover with a bandage.
- Seek medical attention within 24 hours for a tetanus shot and rabies post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP).
- Monitor your dog's behavior and health for the next 10 days.
- Consult your veterinarian about vaccinating your dog as soon as possible.
Precaution: Rabies risk is higher if your dog isn't vaccinated.

I've been dealing with an anal fissure for the past 4 months and the pain is really bad though there's no bleeding during stools My doctor suggested laser surgery but I'm wondering if it can heal without surgery What are my options
Yes, anal fissures can often heal without surgery, even if they've been present for several months. Your doctor's suggestion of laser surgery is a valid option, but there are several non-surgical treatments that should be tried first, especially since your fissure has been ongoing for 4 months
