Doctor, please check my semen analysis result below and tell me what I should do? I get good erections, but I ejaculate within one minute. Time of liquefaction is 30 minutes. Colour is greyish white. Consistency is thick. pH is 8.0. Volume is 2.5 ml. Total sperm count is 84 million/ml. Morphology is 55 percent normal, 15 percent head defect, 15 percent midpiece defect, and 15 percent tail defect. Motility is 15 percent active, 30 percent sluggish, 55 percent non motile. WBC is 8 to 10 per HPF.

I am a 35 year old man trying for a baby. I have been married for a year and tried for 2 to 3 months. My wife is 33 years old and has normal parameters for conceiving. My semen analysis report shows sperm count per ml is 32 million, total sperm per ejaculate is 128 million, rapid linear progression after half an hour is 20 percent and after 2 hours is 10 percent, and total abnormal spermatozoa is 66 percent. Kindly advise if this report is normal for my wife to conceive or should I start some medications?

Hello Doctor, my sperm motility is around 10 percent, which I found out recently after a semen analysis test. I have been feeling depressed since I came to know this. There is no problem with erection or premature ejaculation, but after the semen analysis test, I feel I cannot have a baby. Please advise, Doctors. Thank you in advance. My husband has undergone two seminal fluid tests, one after 2 weeks and another after 2 months to check for azoospermia. I would like help interpreting these reports and understanding what the results indicate.

If no sperm found in both tests, azoospermia is confirmed. Further evaluation is needed to know if it is obstructive or non obstructive. Consult a fertility specialist. Hormonal profile & Scrotal USG is a must.
