My left ear has been feeling heavy and blocked constantly, with sounds echoing inside. I can't hear people properly when they speak slowly. The doctor I saw recommended surgery, but I'm not sure what's causing this or if surgery is really needed. Can you help me understand what might be going on based on my reports?

I'm having some trouble with my voiceit feels like I need to put in extra effort to speak, and it weakens after a while. This has been happening for about three months now. I also feel a constant dry and burning sensation in my throat, especially tough in the morning when I can't speak until I've had some water. I've tried voice adduction therapy as suggested by my speech therapist, but it hasn't really worked. Is there any way I could reach out to you through Skype for some advice?
You seem to be suffering from reflux laryngopharyngitis which is type of acidity related disorder. You may need to take anti reflux medications for few weeks for long term benefits. Voice therapy also may be required Next Steps Consult nearby ENT specialist for confirmation of diagnosis and appropriate treatment if required
