My left ear has completely lost hearing and the doctor said the nerves are dead. Is there any medicine that can help or are there hearing devices that can be surgically implanted to restore some hearing?

I'm dealing with an ear wax issue, and the wax seems like it's all the way at the bottom of my ear. It's making it hard for me to hear properly. What should I do? I'm worried about this affecting my hearing more.

I'm experiencing this pain right below my left ear and jaw area, and it's really uncomfortable. There's no pain in my teeth, but there's some swelling happening too. Could this possibly be mumps? I'm a bit worried and unsure about what it could be. What should I do?
