Before hip replacement surgery, your mom should follow pre-surgery guidelines including blood tests, physical therapy, and possibly weight management. Post-surgery, physical therapy and follow-up care will be crucial for recovery and walking again.

View allMy calf size has shrunk by 4.7 cm in diameter and feels less rigid after my ACL surgery where they used a hamstring autograft SGT. It's been 25 days, and my operated leg still looks thinner and weaker with some swelling is this normal? They also did a partial meniscectomy on the medial side should I be worried about early osteoarthritis?
Calf muscle atrophy 25‚ÄØdays post-ACL/MCL hamstring graft is normal;continued physiotherapy and compression help, with early osteoarthritis unlikely immediately.

My MRI shows a complete tear of the supraspinatus tendon at its insertion with 0.8cm retraction. I'm a 45-year-old woman can this heal with physiotherapy or is surgery the only option? I'm worried about recovery and what's best for my shoulder.

I've been having mild pain in my left inner elbow and forearm, especially after using my phone or laptop for a while. I already have ulnar nerve subluxation in my right elbow and surgery is planned for that, but this left side pain is different no tingling or subluxation, just discomfort that eases with massage. Could this be related to overuse or something else I should be concerned about
The mild pain in your left inner elbow and forearm, especially after using your phone or laptop, could be related to overuse or a similar condition to your right elbow's ulnar nerve subluxation, but without the tingling or subluxation. While it's different from your right elbow, it's still worth investigating. Since it eases with massage, it may be a less severe form of nerve irritation or muscle strain. However, it's wise to consult with a doctor or physical therapist to rule out other potential issues and get personalized advice.
