My mom had surgery for follicular neoplasm thyroiditis and now her voice sounds weak and unclear. Should she rest her voice or try to speak more to recover? Also, is there any risk of cancer after this type of surgery?

I recently had my ear wax removed by an ENT specialist and now everything sounds super loud to me. My own voice even echoes a lot, which is really disturbing. Could you please give me some advice on how to deal with this?
you may be experiencing temporary changes in your hearing sensitivity and perception due to the removal of ear wax. To cope with this, you can try using ear plugs or earmuffs in noisy environments to reduce the loudness of sounds. Additionally, you can try speaking softly and practicing speaking at a lower volume to minimize the echo effect of your own voice. Over time, your hearing should adjust back to normal.
