My mom, who's 56, tested positive for COVID two weeks ago. Luckily, she's not showing most symptoms anymore, but we're worried because her dry cough just won't go away. It's been bothering her for two weeks now. Could you recommend a good cough syrup or any advice on what might help?

View allI'm currently using esiflo 500 transcaps for my asthma, but it doesn't seem to be working well for me. Can you suggest a better inhaler or any alternatives that might be more effective? I'm really looking for something that can provide better relief.
I would advise you to visit a pulmonologist so that you can be evaluated and undergo necessary investigations and get treated accordingly.

Is it okay to drink milk if I have a cough or asthma? I've heard mixed things about it possibly making things worse, like increased mucus production. Is that true? Just trying to figure out if I'm better off avoiding it when my symptoms are acting up.
Milk is avoided in asthma patient since it triggers the asthma.
