I'm really worried about my cousin who's in the 12th grade and was just diagnosed with TB, which he was told is linked to some kind of stomach infection. I'm trying to understand, how is TB different from asthma? And is there a possibility that his TB could turn into asthma?

I've been dealing with mediastinal lymph node TB and found out through EBUS FNAC and Genexpert. I'm currently on a 5-month treatment and have gained about 9 kg since starting it. Lately, I've noticed something odd with my cough. I seem to cough around 30 to 40 times a day, but it hits me in these dry cough attacks. It'll start with maybe 7 to 8 back-to-back coughs, then I clear my throat, and it stops. This happens like 3 to 4 times a day. There's no mucus, just throat clearing. But it's strange because it doesn't mess with my sleep or anything. Could this be an allergy or is it something I should be worried about?
