My mom's been dealing with high blood pressure, and I just got a reading of 15088 from a digital device today. Our family doctor recommended ATEN 25 for her and suggested she takes 2 tablets daily. I'm worried and wondering if that's the best medication for her situation. Could you share any advice or thoughts on this?

I've been feeling this weird vibration in my left chest, and it only lasts for like 1 or 2 seconds before it stops on its own. I'm not really sure what could be causing it or how to make it go away. Could you tell me what might be going on and if there's anything I can do to stop it?

Feeling vibrations in the left chest that stop within 1 to 2 seconds could be due to premature ventricular contractions (PVCs), which are extra, abnormal heartbeats that begin in the ventricles. To help manage PVCs, you can try reducing stress and anxiety, avoiding caffeine and nicotine, and ensuring you stay hydrated. In some cases, if PVCs are frequent or bothersome, a doctor may prescribe a beta-blocker such as Metoprolol (25-50mg) to help regulate the heart rhythm.

I'm wondering about my Atorvastatin prescription. I've been taking the 10 mg dose prescribed by Dr. Umashankar. When I saw you yesterday, I asked whether I should continue with it, but I'm not sure about what to do next. Also, the brand I was using isn't easily available. Could you advise on what brand I should go for and if I should keep taking it?

You can continue taking Atorvastatin 10 mg. If the previous brand is not available, you can try using Lipitor as an alternative. Take 10 mg of Lipitor once daily as prescribed by your doctor.

I'm really worried about my mom's health. Her doctor said she has a 90% blockage in one of her arteries, and they're suggesting she undergoes angioplasty. Is this really the only way to treat it, or are there other options we should consider? I'm just trying to make sure we're making the best choice for her.

You go for other investigation.
