My mom's been dealing with a staph infection for the past 4 months, and it's caused boils on her skin. Lately, she's also been getting a fever, and today she mentioned having a heartburn sensation. I'm really worried and just wondering if this staph infection is curable?

View allI'm wondering if, after being exposed to HIV, the antibodies still show up in the body even four years later. Is there any possibility that they might vanish over time? And if they might disappear, would they still be detectable after a long period?
Yes, HIV antibodies can remain present in the human body for many years after exposure. In some cases, the antibodies may decrease over time but they are usually detectable even after a long period. It is important to note that HIV testing is still recommended for accurate diagnosis and monitoring of the infection.

I'm really worried and need some advice. I had an Elisa HIV 1 and 2 test done 21 days after a possible exposure, and it came back negative at 0.006. Is that result conclusive, or should I think about getting tested again in 2 or 3 months? I only had oral sex and kissed the lips of a sex worker quite a few times. Am I still at risk?
