Your mothers thyroid report shows severe hypothyroidism. TSH is very high, and T3/T4 are low. She needs to start Levothyroxine (Thyronorm/Eltroxin), usually 25 to 50 mcg once daily, on an empty stomach, 30 minutes before breakfast. However, because of her age and multiple myeloma treatment, the dose should be started low and adjusted slowly by her doctor. Repeat TSH after 6 to 8 weeks to monitor response.
