My MRI shows desiccation of the L4-L5 disc causing nerve root compression. I get pain when walking, and it's making daily activities hard. Is this a serious issue? What nonsurgical treatments are available? Can it heal without surgery, and what are the chances of recovery without going under the knife?

View allI've been dealing with a concern that's been bothering me for a while. When I was around 12, I started dry humping on the bed, and this went on until I was about 16. Now, I'm 24 and I've noticed my thighs and legs look thin and kind of deformed. Could there be any connection to my past habits, or is there another reason they appear this way?
_Possible Reasons for Thigh Changes_ 1. *Muscle Imbalance*: Repeated dry humping might have led to overdevelopment of certain muscle groups, causing an imbalance. 2. *Poor Posture*: Frequent pressure on your thighs and legs might have affected your posture, leading to uneven muscle development. 3. *Genetic Factors*: Natural growth patterns and genetic predispositions can influence body shape and muscle distribution.

My ACL surgery was done a month ago but my knee is only bending 40%. Are there any Ayurvedic oils that can help improve knee bending and strengthen the ligaments?
physiotherapy and some painkillers try to manage your condition first.

My mom has a high grade ACL tear and the doctor recommended surgery but we're worried about the risks so we're trying ayurvedic treatment instead. There's a well-known ayurvedic doctor who gives her a lape to apply on and below the knee along with some oil. Can an ACL tear actually heal with ayurveda or is surgery the only real option?
