My name is Nandini. I have been suffering from thyroid issues for 5 years and am currently taking Thyronorm 125 mcg. Recently, I was diagnosed with PCOS. I am experiencing heavy hair fall and have been trying to conceive for the past 3 years without success. My periods are very irregular, sometimes once every 3 months, with very heavy bleeding, clots, and severe pain lasting almost a month, which only stops when I take Meprate for a month. Please suggest what I should do now, as I want to conceive.

PCOS, thyroid, heavy bleeding all interfere with conception. Hormones need balancing first. Long bleeding needs medical attention.

View allHi. I have not been taking any medicine for the last two days. Before that, I missed Thyroxine for a week, then took it for two days. Now, for the last two days, I have not taken anything. I have attached my report. Why does it look normal? Am I normal or should I be taking the medicine? Just to let you know, I got my test done 2 years back and the doctor suggested me to take 100 mg of Thyroxine. I will be visiting my doctor on Monday but thought of asking here.

Today I got my thyroid levels checked after 2 months, and the results show T3: 7.30, T4: 3.20, and TSH: 0.037. Two months ago, my thyroid report was normal, so I reduced my Thyronorm from 50 mg to 37.5 mg (25+12.5 mg). I am very tense about these results, and I have also noticed weight gain. Please advise what I should do next.

Hi, I recently got my thyroid checked after delivery (I delivered a baby a year ago). My report shows TSH is 4.26. I want to know if this is normal or if I need any medication. P.S. The sample was taken on an empty stomach in the morning.
