My PET scan shows no distant spread and clear lymph nodes, but I have obstructive jaundice and the doctors say it's operable. What are the risks of this surgery and is this type of cancer curable? Really worried and need some clarity

since there is increase in size of supraclavicular lymphnode, consult a gastroenterologist as soon as possible

My mother-in-law was recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer but she doesn't have serious symptoms right now and seems healthy. How much time does she likely have left and what treatments should we consider? Some doctors say surgery isn't useful at this stage but chemotherapy might help what's your opinion on this?

Stage 4 NSCLC is not curable, but it is treatable.
