In my recent blood test report my RBC decreased from 5.8 to 5.2 and Hb increased from 14 to 15.2. Why is my RBC decreasing and Hb increasing?

A mild drop in RBC with a rise in Hb can occur due to hydration changes, training (if youre athletic), or lab variation. If no symptoms are present, this is not concerning. Repeat CBC after a few weeks for consistency.

My mother, aged 52, was recently admitted to the hospital and received treatment for fever. The final diagnosis mentioned enteric fever and acute febrile illness.
