My report shows 0.58 ng per ml prolactin. What does this mean? My prolactin was 57.47 in the last test. Is it raised or fallen? Please help me understand?

This indicates a significant drop in prolactin. The new value is quite low, suggesting possible pituitary or hormonal dysfunction. Clinical correlation and repeat testing may be needed.

View allAfter a scan and blood tests, I have been diagnosed with PCOS. My results show AMH 7.5, prolactin 40, and vitamin D 13, while all other parameters are normal. My doctor has prescribed Myo inositol and Cabergoline 0.5?mg once a week for three weeks. I am confused about the Myo inositol dosage: should I take 2 tablets per day? I have a total of 60 Myo inositol tablets. Should I take both medications in the same month, or should I finish the Myo inositol first and then start Cabergoline? Please guide me.
