my right eye has a minor retinal detachment seen on OCT and fluorescence angiography causing some blurry vision is surgery the only way to fix this or are there other options

My current glasses prescription is 8 and it's been getting worse for the past 10-12 years. I'm worried about this steady decline would surgery be a good option for me? If so, what type of procedure would you recommend?
