My sister has been suffering from Steven Johnson syndrome for 10 years and her vision keeps getting worse. We've tried multiple eye surgeries but nothing has worked so far. She needs a keratoplasty transplant do you know which hospitals in India perform this procedure? I'm really worried and need some guidance on where to go.

just had cataract surgery this morning and was told to use eye drops but my eyes are also watery from a cold can i take cold medicine too or will it interfere with the surgery

After cataract surgery, it’s safe to take cold medicine, but be cautious if it contains decongestants, as they can increase blood pressure. It’s best to consult your eye doctor for specific instructions about medications during recovery.

My left eye keeps drifting outward away from my nose could this be exotropia? What causes it and are there any non-surgical ways to fix it or stop it from getting worse? I'm really worried about this happening

Yes, an outward drifting of your left eye could be exotropia, a type of strabismus (eye misalignment) where one or both eyes turn outward. While the exact cause isn't always clear, it can be related to genetics, eye muscle weakness, or neurological conditions. Non-surgical treatments like vision therapy, patching, and glasses may help manage or even correct the condition, but surgery might be necessary in some cases. It's best to consult with an eye doctor for proper diagnosis and treatment options.
