My son is 15 years old. His blood report shows TSH greater than 150. He weighs 70 kg and is 5.6 inches tall. He looks normal and active and plays games like kabaddi volleyball and cricket. The doctor prescribed Tyronorm 100 mg. Is that much dose required and can it be cured?

Despite being active, a TSH over 150 suggests an underactive thyroid. Treatment with thyroid medication is important to maintain normal growth, energy, and overall health.
