My urine test report shows pus cells 10 to 15 per high power field. I want to know if this is abnormal, and which specialist should be consulted.

Yes, this indicates urinary tract infection or inflammation. Urologist consult advised. Please take a Urine Culture.

View allHi, my wife and I went on a 12 days international vacation and were scheduled to go for our 12 week pregnancy scan immediately after returning. We had a long international flight and got the scan and urine test immediately. While the NT scan and other reports are fine, the urine report shows 6 to 8 pus cells with a urine pH of 8. Is this possibly due to temporary dehydration from travel or is it something more serious? My wife does not have any other symptoms and is fine. We are asking this since we can only meet our doctor in a wee time. Thanks.
