For the past few months, I've been dealing with a burning sensation when I pee and having to push hard to empty my bladder. The flow is slow, not smooth, and sometimes splits into multiple streams. My doctor thinks it's likely a stricture and suggested surgery. Are there other treatment options? Also, I've noticed a sudden drop in libido and weaker erections could this be connected?

A urethral stricture can cause these symptoms; options like dilation or endoscopic urethrotomy may be tried before surgery.
