Please find the attached blood report and confirm if I have typhoid or not. I am worried about this.

If your Widal test or Typhi IgM/IgG is positive and you have relevant symptoms like fever, fatigue, abdominal pain, you may have typhoid. Best confirmed with blood culture. Please consult your physician.

View allI was tested for typhoid about 25 days ago, and at that time my Widal test showed O type 1:160 and H type 1:160. I recently got tested again, and now all other types are negative except O type, which is still showing 1:160. I would like to know the reason behind this. What should I do next, and what kind of food should I eat during this recovery period?

I recently had a Typhidot IgM test, which came back weak positive two days ago. My father arranged for a railway doctor in my hometown, who, after reviewing my report, prescribed Azithromycin 1 gm in the morning and Levofloxacin 750 mg at night. Today is my second day of medication and the sixth day of typhoid symptoms. My fever goes down after taking the medicines, but a mild fever (98.8 to 99.1F) returns after 8 to 9 hours. I am very nervous because of the many negative stories about typhoid online, and I am alone in Delhi. I am concerned whether this dose is appropriate or too high, and whether this treatment is safe and effective.
