Recently I came to know that I have hepatitis B during blood donation and my blood report shows HBsAg greater than 280 IU per ml reactive. Please help me understand what this means and how I can know whether it is acute, chronic, or inactive carrier state. I am very scared and want to know how to overcome this situation. Is it curable and will Ayurvedic treatment help in eliminating HBV.

I tested HBsAg positive, and my doctor informed me that I was an inactive carrier. My liver function test values have been normal. Recently, I have been experiencing abdominal pain. My latest LFT remains normal, but an ultrasound showed hepatomegaly with a liver size of 162 mm. My SGPT is 40, SGOT is 24, and my HBV viral load is 9,000. I am attaching my report for your review. Please advise what treatment I require.

Hello, I am a hepatitis B carrier. My LFT reports are normal, but my HBV DNA quantitative PCR test shows viral DNA at 853 IU/ml. Should this be a concern? I do not consume alcohol or cigarettes. My doctor has advised not to take any medication as long as my LFT reports remain normal. Please guide me on how to proceed. Current status:
HBsAg: positive
HBeAg: negative
HBeAb: sometimes negative, sometimes positive
