The pus from my cervical TB infection was drained but the lump hasn't gone away yet. The lab confirmed it's tuberculosis and I'm on FORECOX (Isoniazid, Pyrazinamide, Ethambutol) twice daily. Should I get any other tests done to check if the treatment is working or if there's more going on

It's important to monitor the progress of your cervical TB treatment and the lymph node after draining the pus. While the drug regimen you're on (FORECOX) is effective, additional tests may be needed to confirm the effectiveness of the treatment and rule out any other potential complications.

View allI've been dealing with a persistent cough for about six months now. Initially, it was just a cough, but recently I've noticed some blood when I cough, though it's only happened once or twice. I went to NIMS and they did an X-ray and endoscopy, but didn't find anything and they prescribed me Reswas and Trenxa syrup. Unfortunately, the cough hasn't improved and it tends to get worse at night. I'm feeling okay otherwise, but this nighttime cough is really starting to bother me. Could you suggest where I should go next or what kind of specialist I should consult?

My chest X-ray showed prominent bronchiovascular markings in both lungs and I'm scheduled for surgery under general anesthesia on Wednesday should I be concerned about how this might affect the procedure?
Prominent BVM can indicate chronic inflammation—inform anesthetist; surgery can proceed with proper precautions.

I've been smoking for the last couple of years but stopped after getting a bad cold recently. Since then, I've been coughing a lot, and I'm a bit worried because the mucus changed from yellow to white. Is that normal? I've also been gargling and doing some hot water breathing to help my throat. Should I be concerned about anything else?
