Sir, my ESR test result is 84 mm/hr. Could you please explain the possible reasons for such a high value, and what treatment or medicines might be recommended?

ESR of 84 is high and usually indicates inflammation, infection, or autoimmune issues. On its own, it does not confirm a disease. Combine it with symptoms and get tests like CRP, CBC, and possibly ANA to narrow down cause.
Dr. Yusuf Suggests...
Take a CRP Test (C - Reactive Protein) Test or Take a CBC Test (Complete Blood Count) Test

I have been experiencing a fever of 100 to 102F and a dry cough for the past 3 weeks. The coughing is causing headaches and abdominal pain. My blood tests were negative for typhoid, malaria, and Widal test, but my ESR is elevated at 59 (normal range 0 to 20). I am currently taking Almont Alcare, Curin M, Oceft CF 500, and a cough syrup. Despite the medications, my fever continues to fluctuate between 100 to 102F. Please suggest what could be causing this and what should be done next.
