Sir, my grandmother blood report shows a high number of WBCs, up to 17,000? She also has a fever all the time? Kindly suggest which specialist we should approach in this case? Thank you.

Persistent leukocytosis with fever suggests bacterial infection or possibly hematological malignancy. Please consult a Hematologist and take Blood Culture, CBC with Peripheral Smear.
Dr. Hema Suggests...
Take a PERIPHERAL SMEAR Test or Take a CULTURE AND SENSITIVITY - AEROBIC (BLOOD) Test

My child is experiencing rashes all over the body, which sometimes appear in one area and disappear from another. He also has fever, sleepiness, and nausea. He has been taking Atarax 6 ml and Rantac 3.5 ml for the past day, but he feels very weak and even fell down while complaining of nausea. I got a CBC done, and his platelet count is normal.
