So, I caught this bad cold and sore throat a few days ago after traveling, probably because of the weather change. I seem to always get hit with a cold when the weather shifts. I started taking Joshanda Hamdards a couple of times a day since it's helped me in the past. But my cough wasn't getting better, so I switched to Ambrolite D and cetzip cetrizine. While the cough improved, the throat pain didn't, so I swapped Cetzip for Montek LC, which I've used before and heard is better. Now Im 3 days into these meds, with 2 days on Cetzip and 1 on Montek LC, Ambrolite D for a day, and Joshanda for about 2 days. My coughs better, but my throat pain's still there and might even be a bit worse; at least there's no fever. I'm wondering if I should take something else for the throat pain or if I should just keep going with what Im taking and for how long?

It seems like you are managing your symptoms well. To further address the throat pain, you can consider adding an analgesic and anti-inflammatory medication like Tab. Diclofenac 50mg twice daily after meals for 3-5 days. Additionally, you can continue with the following medications for a few more days: - Montek LC (Montelukast + Levocetirizine) once daily in the evening for a total of 5-7 days - Ambrolite D (Ambroxol + Dextromethorphan) syrup 10ml three times a day for a total of 5 days Make sure to stay hydrated, get plenty of rest, and avoid irritants like smoke. If your symptoms persist or worsen, it would be best to consult a healthcare professional for further evaluation.

View allI tested positive for COVID back on May 15, but luckily, I started feeling better by May 25, and my sense of smell and taste came back. But for the past three days, I've been feeling really off. I had a headache, a bit of a sore throat, and my eyes have been irritated. Do you have any advice on what might be going on and what I should do next?

My mom just recovered from COVID-19, and yesterday we had some blood tests done, including D-dimer, LDH, and ferritin levels. The results showed the D-dimer is 585, LDH is 233, and ferritin is 401. What precautions should we take now? Can you please give some advice?

I'm dealing with a pretty bad flu and a serious cough. I'm already taking a syrup and an antibiotic like amoxiline 1g. So, if a doctor suggests paracetamol, is it just for pain relief or does it help fight the virus too? And what if I can manage the pain, do I really need to take the paracetamol?
Paracetamol has multiple actions ,usually given for fever and pain, you can follow your doctor advice.
