So, I'm curious about why we need to take blood pressure meds like Coversyl indefinitely. What's the medical reason behind this? Why can't high blood pressure be treated permanently?

I'm a bit confused and worried after seeing my recent health checkup report. It mentions Grade 1 diastolic dysfunction, but everything else like chamber dimension, RWMA, and LV systolic function looks normal. The report also notes trivial MR and TR, with no PAH, clot, or vegetation, and my EF is 70. Can you help me understand what Grade 1 diastolic dysfunction really means and if there's anything I should do about it?

grade 1 diastolic dysfunction could be due to hypertension , electrolyte imbalance and due to ischaemic heart disease.Salt restricted diet and DASH diet is advised.Also regular aerobic exercises is advised..Alcohol and cessation of smoking is advised

I'm having this chest pain again, just like a few months ago. I've already seen a doctor and done an ECG, but everything came back normal. It's happened three times nowsame pain, normal ECG results. What should I do next?

Is it gas or heart attack?

Heart attack feels like pressure on chest cannot be relieved by antacids,associated with breathlessness. One can not entirely differentiate chest pain due to gas from chest pain due to heart attack based on symptoms only. You may need to visit a hospital and get evaluated by a health-care provider.
