View allI'm really concerned about my cousin. He had typhoid last year, and ever since, his platelet count has been dropping randomly, sometimes getting as low as 60k. It's weird because he doesn't have a fever or feel any other symptoms. We're all pretty worried about what's causing this fluctuation in his platelets. Do you have any idea what might be going on, and what we should do next?

I've had chronic ITP since I was a kid and my platelets are usually low, like under 20000, but they've been stable at 80000 for a while now. I'm 23 and recently needed amoxicillin for a couple of weeks, which is when I started noticing some random bruising, like one on my thigh that's a few inches long. It's kind of freaking me out because I haven't experienced this in a bit and there are no other symptoms. Should I be worried about this?
I would advise you to visit the ER, it is likely that your platelets have dropped down to a dangerous level. So kindly go to the ER and get evaluated at the earliest and take the necessary treatment for it. Drink pappaya leaf juice which will help increase the level of platelets.

Your urea level of 84 mg/dL and glucose level of 98 mg/dL are both within the normal range for most individuals. However, it's crucial to discuss these results with your doctor, especially considering your recent surgery for a bone marrow lesion. They can provide personalized advice based on your specific medical history and the potential impact of your surgery.
