What can I drink to cleanse my lungs?
Answered by 1 Apollo Doctors
There is no scientific proof to methods available online to detox your lungs. Fortunately, Lungs are good at cleaning and repairing themselves unless there was any chronic damage done. You may follow some steps to keep the lungs healthy such as Quit smoking, avoid second-hand smoke, steer clear of pollution indoors & outside (Wear mask, use air purifiers), prevent lung infections (Hand washing, maintain distance from sick people, get flu/pneumonia vaccines), include anti oxidants in diet and do breathing exercises or any physical activity on regular basis.

View allI've had a cough and minor fever that started about 10 days ago. I took some medicine for it, but my cough still hasn't gotten any better. The fever usually kicks in during the evening, but not so much in the noon. Lately, my cough has gotten really bad, and it's so intense sometimes that it makes me vomit. I've also noticed a bit of blood in the mornings after coughing. The cough feels like it's coming from my chest rather than my throat. Could you help me figure out what might be going on?
do chest xray and sputum test

I'm currently dealing with extra pulmonary tuberculosis and have developed left pleural effusion. I'm now in the fourth month of my continuous phase of ATT. These days, I'm taking Macox plus 600 and Ecox 1000mg tablets daily. I'm wondering, is it okay to continue with these medications for the rest of the ATT course? Would really appreciate your guidance on this!
yes you should continue those medications
