What does it mean when my CT scan shows likely infective tuberculosis but my smear test came back negative? I'm not having any cough or fever. What's going on? I'm pretty confused about it all.

View allI'm a bit worried about my recent CT report, and I could really use some guidance. It mentions that there's a collapse consolidation in my left lower lobe and some specks of calcification with fibronodular changes. They also found a few confluent nodules and scattered small nodules in both lung fields, plus ground glass opacity in my right lower lobe. The impression notes something about mediastinal lymphadenopathy and a mild pleural infusion on the left. Can someone explain what all these terms mean and what I should be concerned about? Is this indicative of a serious condition or something treatable?

I've been dealing with this choking sensation for almost a year now, and it really feels like I'm short of breath. I end up coughing a lot, trying to make it better, and it kind of feels like I'm going to vomit, but nothing ever comes outno vomiting, no sputum. I haven't had any fever either. I got a chest X-ray done a couple of days ago and everything seemed normal, and about five months ago, I had an HD Chest Scan, 2D Echo, and another X-rayall normal too. I'm taking Montek LC half a tablet at night and using an inhaler, but nothing's helping. What could this be?

I'm really worried about my mom. She's 49 and dealing with a thyroid problem, but now she's tested positive for Covid. Her HR CT report seems fine, and she's mainly experiencing weakness and a bit of a dry cough. Her oxygen levels are usually between 93 to 98 during the day, but at night while she's sleeping, her spo2 level drops quickly to around 80-85, which is pretty alarming. We end up waking her up, and then her spo2 levels return to normal. Could this be because of Covid? Should I be worried? What should we do if this happens again?
