I've just got my LFT test results, and I'm kind of worried because my GGT levels have shot up to 575. Plus, my triglycerides are at 281, and blood sugar levels from fasting are 168. I've been on Glycomet 500 MG Tablet SR twice a day, yet my foot has felt numb and tingly for the past year. I had sarcoidosis back in 2020, and my doctor had me on TB medication for 9 months. I quit smoking two years ago and don't drink at all. Other LFT parameters are fine. Could you help me understand why my GGT and triglycerides are high?

My mom has been struggling with thyroid issues and her doctors are recommending surgery. I'm really worried is surgery absolutely necessary in her case? How long might the recovery take if she goes through with it? Also, could you share some dos and don'ts she should follow right now to manage her condition better?

My dad had piles surgery six months ago and since then he's been losing weight, can't eat properly, and his BP keeps dropping low. He feels faint when walking or driving, urinates more frequently, and also has thyroid issues currently taking thyronorm. What could be causing all these symptoms?
