Every shortness of breath must be evaluated to know the cause and give appropriate treatment. Some of the conditions which cause shortness of breath are allergic reaction or anaphylaxis, sudden blood loss, anemia, Anxiety, Foreign body or choking, lung infections like pneumonis, Fluid in lung, Collapse lung, Blood clot in lung vasculature like Pulmonary embolism, Asthma, COPD, Pregnancy, Heart attack or failure, Heart rhythm irregularity.

View allI'm really worried because I've been coughing for two weeks now, and it's getting to the point where sometimes when I cough really hard, it completely blocks my throat and I can't breathe. It's scary, and on top of that, I've actually thrown up what I've just eaten a few times. I already saw a general doctor, but the meds they gave me aren't doing anything. Can you tell me which specialist I should talk to about this?

I've been a bit worried because about 10 days ago, I had a fever for a couple of days right after my dad tested positive for COVID. I just assumed I might be positive too, so I quarantined myself. Now, I'm dealing with sinus issues, but most of the mucus has gone away and I've barely got any cough left. I got a chest X-ray yesterday, and I'm really concerned about whether I should be worried about pneumonia, especially since I had that brief fever and no real cough. What do you think?
Take amoxclav 625 mg BD for 5 day to prevent secondary infection and pneumonia

Ive been dealing with a really bad cough for the last three months and it's starting to worry me. I just got a chest x-ray and Im trying to understand what it means. Can you explain what "BL prominent vascular markings noted" means in simple terms? I'm really curious if this is something I should be concerned about.
That could be bronchitis,take adequate rest and consume balanced diet,visit physician for appropriate management
