What's the role of the fibula in ankle movement? I had surgery on my tibia and fibula 5 months ago, but my ankle still won't bend no matter how much I try. My mom is 64 and has osteoporosis with knee pain in both legs. She had an accident 10 years ago and still has a rod in her left thigh that runs from the upper thigh to just above the knee. I'm wondering if the rod needs to be removed before she gets knee replacement surgery. Also, the doctor suggested replacing both knees what are the risks and success rates for someone with her condition?

I'm 20 and have bow legs with about a 23-inch gap between my knees is surgery the only way to fix this and if so how much does it usually cost
