Missed period with negative pregnancy test could be due to stress, hormonal imbalance e.g. PCOS, thyroid. Ultrasound and hormonal profile are advised.

Hi, last month I had an HSG test, which was normal. This month, I was given an HCG 5000 injection for ovulation. My left ovary released an egg a few days ago. Now, I have sharp pain in my left ovary once a day for 2 to 3 minutes. Is this normal implantation, an ectopic pregnancy, or something else?
