After how many days of missing period should we check pregnancy? I missed my period yesterday and today I took the test and it was negative.

The best time to take a pregnancy test is 2 to 3 days after missed period for most accurate results. Taking it on Day 1 may sometimes show a false negative due to low HCG levels. If still no period after 3 to 4 days, repeat test with first morning urine. If still unclear, get a Beta HCG blood test.

I did a urine pregnancy test and it was negative. There was a time when I had unprotected sex but I took a pill immediately the next day. Why is this happening? Is it normal?

I am now three days late for my period and did a home pregnancy test, which was negative. Should I be worried?
