A blood test done on September 9 showed: Hemoglobin: 7.5 g/dL Type of anemia: Anisocytosis, microcytic, hypochromic Vitamin D: 55.45 nmol/L Can you please guide me regarding treatment? Also, when should I repeat these tests?

Low Hb indicates iron deficiency anemia. Vitamin D is borderline low. Take iron rich diet and iron tabs. Recheck after 1 month. Test CBC, Iron Panel, Vitamin B12, Vitamin D.
Dr. Kamran Suggests...
Take a COMPLETE BLOOD COUNT (CBC) Test or Take a IRON STUDIES (IRON + TIBC) Test

Hello Doctor, Almost a month ago, my daughter started complaining of stomachache after every meal and had loose motions about twice a day. Her blood test showed a hemoglobin level of 6.1 g/dL. The doctor advised hemoglobin injections (Vitcofol 10 mL, 5 injections). Even after taking the injections, her hemoglobin only increased to 6.5 g/dL in about a month, and the stomachache persists. She is now taking homeopathic medication for her stomach, which has helped somewhat, but I am still worried about her very low hemoglobin. Kindly suggest what medication can help improve her hemoglobin and what could be the main reason for this condition.
