Doctor my periods are delayed for 12 days. I performed a urine pregnancy test and it is negative. I also did a beta hcg test and it is also negative. Doctor can you give me some suggestions?

A 12 day delay in periods with both urine and Beta HCG tests being negative means pregnancy is not the reason. This can happen due to hormonal imbalance, stress, PCOD, or thyroid issues. If your period still doesnt come within a week, its best to get some basic tests like TSH, prolactin, LH/FSH, and a pelvic ultrasound. These will help find the exact cause and guide the right treatment.
Dr. Yusuf Suggests...
Take a TSH Test (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone) Test or Take a FSH,LH & Prolactin, Serum Test

I am not married and have never had sexual intercourse, but my period has been delayed for 60 days. I consulted a doctor, who prescribed folic acid and iron tablets for 10 days. I completed the course, but my period still has not started. I do not have thyroid or hormonal problems. What could be the reason, and what should I do?

It is happening for the first time that my periods are delayed for 1 week. Urine and blood pregnancy tests are negative. Recently a doctor prescribed me vitamin C tablets and now my new doctor prescribed me methylprogesterone acetate tablets twice a day for 5 days. I took 3 tablets till now but my periods have not come yet. What could be the reason?
