Glucose in my urine test shows present + + + +. What does this mean? I am diabetic for 6 years. The rest of my urine test report is normal. My blood sugar level after breakfast is 248, checked at home. Does this indicate early kidney disease? Please reply.

Indicates poor sugar control and risk of diabetic nephropathy. Monitor kidney health. Adjust diabetic meds urgently.

Dr. Bhanu Suggests...

Take a MICROALBUMIN /CREATININE RATIO - URINE Test or Take a HBA1C (GLYCATED HEMOGLOBIN) Test
