Glucose in my urine test shows present + + + +. What does this mean? I am diabetic for 6 years. The rest of my urine test report is normal. My blood sugar level after breakfast is 248, checked at home. Does this indicate early kidney disease? Please reply.

Take a Urine ACR Test Test or Take a HbA1c Test (Hemoglobin A1c) Test

View allRespected doctors, my dad took a blood sugar test on 25th July in the afternoon after having lunch. It showed his blood sugar level as 289. To confirm, we took the blood test the next day, 26th July, which showed a completely different sugar level of 125 fasting and 153 after breakfast. After seeing both reports, the diabetologist advised my dad to exercise and walk more. Which sugar level is accurate? The first one taken after lunch or the second report taken in the morning, fasting and after food? Currently, he has not been prescribed any medicines and is taking the morning reading as the accurate one.
