Hello doctor, I am currently undergoing treatment for pleural tuberculosis and have completed 2 months of therapy. I still have a mild fever of 99 to 99.5. My doctor told me to go for a Widal test and after the test he prescribed me cefixime and ofloxacin tablet. Doctor, I am attaching my Widal test report. Can you look at it? Thank you in advance.

Widal 1:160 O titer suggests possible typhoid, but result alone is not confirmatory. Continue antibiotics as advised.

View allI was tested for typhoid about 25 days ago, and at that time my Widal test showed O type 1:160 and H type 1:160. I recently got tested again, and now all other types are negative except O type, which is still showing 1:160. I would like to know the reason behind this. What should I do next, and what kind of food should I eat during this recovery period?

Hi, how can typhoid be treated at the 2nd stage? The Widal test was done, and the titre count is 320. She has been suffering from fever, cough, and cold for the past week. Initially, we thought it might be a common viral fever and consulted a doctor, but after the symptoms persisted, we got blood tests done yesterday for Dengue, malarial parasite, and Widal for typhoid.

Hello sir, in my blood test report, Typhi O 1/160 is positive, but I do not have fever. I feel light chest pain and pain below the chest in the middle part, as well as back pain. Sometimes I experience uneasy breathing. I am unable to understand what the exact problem is. Are these typhoid symptoms? I have not had fever even for a single day. Some time ago, I was suffering from loose motions, but now it is normal.
