Hello Sir/Madam. My daughter stool test report came (we got it done as her stool had mucus and white flakes). I just want to know if the reports are okay? By the way, she is generally fine and gaining weight normally.

Intermittent mucus/flakes can occur with mild infections or dietary issues. If child is otherwise active and gaining weight, no major concern. Repeat if symptoms persist.
Dr. Yusuf Suggests...
Take a STOOL EXAMINATION, PH & REDUCING SUBSTANCES Test or Take a CRP Test (C - Reactive Protein) Test

I would like to know whether Metronidazole is more effective than Ornidazole, or if Ornidazole alone is sufficient for treating this infection.
