I have been dealing with stomach discomfort and indigestion for several months, which started after a course of antibiotics and painkillers in August. Since then, I have been experiencing nausea, indigestion, and smelly gas. A few months ago, a USG of the abdomen showed a gallbladder polyp of 2.8 mm, but I am not sure if my current issues are related to that. I am worried about stomach cancer, and this anxiety is affecting me mentally. I also lose weight easily despite going to the gym regularly for weight training (no cardio). My LFT, urine, stool, and CBC were normal. I was low on Vitamin D, so I am taking supplements weekly. I feel like every day a new problem arises, which increases my anxiety. I am mentally stressed due to my physical health issues. I want to know how to restore my gut health and feel normal again. I feel that these problems started after taking Covaxin, and it has left me very anxious. What should I do?

Stomach discomfort and indigestion after antibiotics and painkillers can be due to gastritis or gut flora imbalance. A 2.8mm gallbladder polyp is small and usually does not cause these symptoms. Anxiety and health worries can worsen gut issues. Focus on a gut friendly diet with probiotics, small frequent meals, and hydration. Avoid excessive gym strain if losing weight easily. If symptoms persist, a stool H. pylori antigen test may help rule out infection, and a gastro consult can help manage anxiety and gut health.

I have been experiencing diarrhea for the past 8 days after receiving the Covishield vaccination. My recent blood reports, including CRP and CBC, are normal. Could you please advise what steps I should take to manage and overcome this issue?

Hi, in my stool report it is mentioned as alkaline reaction. I want to know if that is normal or not? I have also attached my report for your reference. Regards, Ramya
