Hi doctor, we have been married for seven years. We do not have children. After two years, this month my period is delayed by 36 days. I took a home pregnancy test today and it shows negative. I am suffering from severe back pain and hip pain. Is there any possibility of pregnancy? I am having slight pain like menstrual pain.

Missed period with back and hip pain can be an early pregnancy sign. A negative home test may be too early or inaccurate. Suggest repeat test or lab based test.

I am currently four days late on my period. I took a pregnancy test, but it was negative. Doctor, I had unprotected sex 3 days before my period was supposed to start. He did not finish inside. I had spotting for 4 days but no full period. Date of intercourse: 14th, Period date: 17th, Spotting started: 21st, Little extra blood flow on 24th, Spotting stopped: 25th. Pregnancy test was negative, checked on 27th. Can you please tell me what the issue might be? I have regular periods with medium flow always. I also have a healthy lifestyle. I have been travelling the past week; other than that there are no other issues.
