Hi, I want to know if my liver is alright and functioning properly. What test or tests can be done to ensure everything is working fine? Thanks.

To check if your liver is healthy and functioning well, you can book a Liver Function Test (LFT). This test checks liver enzymes, bilirubin, protein levels, and other markers to assess liver health. If you have symptoms like yellowing of the eyes, fatigue, or abdominal discomfort, this test will help guide further steps. Stay hydrated, avoid excessive alcohol, and maintain a balanced diet for liver health. Share the report with your doctor for interpretation and advice if needed.

Take a LFT (Liver Function) Test Test or Take a Lipid Profile Test Test

View allHi Doctor, My ALT is 84.8 and my GGT is 98.1. How can I reduce these levels? I have attached my liver test report. Please check and let me know if I am at risk. Is medication mandatory at these levels? Can a diet plan help reduce them? Is a liver transplant required? Please advise.

I have been suffering from high fever for 1 week and recently got my tests done. My SGOT is 118 and SGPT is 217. I had been consuming alcohol continuously for a week, including the day before the test. Additionally, my lymphocyte percentage is 47percent, while all other test results are normal. Should I be concerned about these results?

My blood report shows normocytic normochromic cells with macrocytes and ovalocytes, and my liver enzymes are elevated (SGOT is 55.9 U/L, SGPT is 61.9 U/L). Could this indicate that I am suffering from any disease? Is this reversible, and is there a chance that I might have hepatitis? Please advise.
