Hi, I want to know if my liver is alright and functioning properly. What test or tests can be done to ensure everything is working fine? Thanks.

To check if your liver is healthy and functioning well, you can book a Liver Function Test (LFT). This test checks liver enzymes, bilirubin, protein levels, and other markers to assess liver health. If you have symptoms like yellowing of the eyes, fatigue, or abdominal discomfort, this test will help guide further steps. Stay hydrated, avoid excessive alcohol, and maintain a balanced diet for liver health. Share the report with your doctor for interpretation and advice if needed.

View allI have done an annual health checkup, and my results are as follows: HbA1C 5.7 (pre diabetic), SGPT 118, SGOT 46, LDL cholesterol 107.2, and Vitamin B12 level 164.2. Can you please advise how to bring these test results into acceptable limits and what measures I should follow to control these problems?

I just received my blood report, which shows SGOT/SGPT levels of 42 and 45.36. What do these values mean? I am currently in the 8th month of pregnancy and hoping for a normal delivery. I have also been diagnosed with gestational diabetes and high blood pressure during this pregnancy. Could you please advise if these liver enzyme levels are concerning and what I should do next?

I recently had my LFT done, and my test report shows higher than normal values for SGOT (AST) and SGPT (ALT). I would like to know the possible causes and how to bring these levels back to normal.
