Hi, last month on the last day of my period, I had sex, and the condom broke, so he cum inside me. I took an IPill within 12 hours, but after a week, some brown bleeding occurred which continued for four days. My menstrual cycle is 28 days. I am now three days late for my period and did a home pregnancy test, which was negative. Should I be worried?

Brown bleeding is a common side effect of emergency contraception (i pill). A 3 day delay in periods can be due to hormonal shifts from the pill. A negative test after 3 days delay is reassuring, but retest after 2 to 3 days for confirmation. No immediate need to worry unless periods are delayed beyond 10 to14 days. I usually have a 26 day cycle. I am taking medicine for pregnancy and last month the doctor gave me progesterone Susten after egg rupture. Last month I got my period on 7th. As per my cycle, I was supposed to get my period this month on 3rd, but I still have not got it. Usually, I see brown spotting two days before my period. This time there are no symptoms of period, but I have mild cramps and leg pains for the last two days. Does this mean I am pregnant? When can I do a pregnancy test?

Hi doctor, we have been married for seven years. We do not have children. After two years, this month my period is delayed by 36 days. I took a home pregnancy test today and it shows negative.
