Question

Hi, recently I got my thyroid test done and found that my TSH is 6.031, T4 is 1.16, and Anti TPO is 81.60. I feel tired and sleepy all day long and am not able to concentrate because of this. I am also finding a lot of difficulty in losing weight, even after dieting and working out in the gym for long hours. I have been taking 50 mg tablet of Thyronorm daily. Kindly advise what I should do. Is my report okay or is there something wrong? What should I do to feel energetic again?

This suggests subclinical hypothyroidism with possible autoimmune thyroiditis. Dose adjustment may be needed. Discuss with your doctor to consider increasing thyronorm and repeat tests in 6 to 8 weeks.

Dr. Rohinipriyanka Suggests...

Take a Thyroid Profile (T3 T4 TSH) Test Test or Take a THYROID PEROXIDASE ANTIBODIES (ANTI MICROSOMAL ANTIBODIES) Test
