Is Hijama (wet cupping therapy) effective for treating hair loss, and can it actually restore lost hair? There are many videos on YouTube showing scalp Hijama and claiming hair regrowth, are these results reliable?
Answered by 1 Apollo Doctors
Hijama (wet cupping) may improve scalp blood circulation, but there is limited scientific evidence supporting it for hair regrowth. It cannot reverse genetic or hormonal hair loss (e.g. androgenic alopecia). Mild benefit may be seen in stress induced shedding. Combine with proven treatments like minoxidil and check nutritional deficiencies.

I have been suffering from hair fall for the past 3 months. It started suddenly. Whenever I comb my hair around 60 to 70 strands fall. For the past 3 weeks I was using minoxidil and it reduced my hair fall by 50 percent but after I stopped using minoxidil for a week my hair fall increased and became worse. My blood report is also normal. Please suggest what should I do?
